True healing of our human state comes from within
Thoughts are things.
Each day we go through life unaware of the many choices we make. We choose to get upset without even realizing we chose to let anger in. When we quite our mind of the constant noise of daily life only then will we be able to make conscience decisions. In today's busy existence, humans choose convenience over health because they make decisions based on influences that are not their own. We unknowingly let society influence our decisions and are usually unhappy with the results. To gain true happiness and health in our life we must first slow down our reactions to life's chaos. Instead of letting our daily experiences anger us we must make the conscience decision to accept life's chaos, breath, and chose inner peace instead. When we consciously make decisions we are in control of our emotions. When we let society influence our decisions we are giving up control by not caring.
Next time you are feeling angry, anxious, or sad, simply slow down and realize the negative feeling and replace it with a positive one instead. There are many peaceful moments in life that we can call on to replace our negative emotions. Breath in acceptance of a negative emotion and breath out peaceful memories and positive emotions. I chose the love of my family to center me when I am anxious. I focus on the feelings of pure joy I have within me that have been given to me during my lifetime. Like, how proud I am of my children, this is a heart warming feeling that I can easily replace anger with. Love is always a great positive emotion to conquer negative emotions. Butterflies are a feeling that I will harness for all of my life, the pure love I feel for my husband that can instantly put a smile on my face. So next time you are feeling stressed, helpless, powerless, or overwhelmed; SLOW DOWN AND BREATHE.
To gain inner peace you must constantly practice. So everyday, every experience, every decision; make a conscience effort to choose your own emotions. After all it is your life, it belongs to you and no one else.

Pallet garden
It is so simply to make a pallet garden. Lay down pallet, fill with compost, plant your crops, water and weed regularly til harvest.
Today we planted tomatoes, celery, eggplant, basil, thai basil, lemongrass, and dill.
Tomorrow I am planting lettuce along the outside of the tomatoe pallets.
I will post updates as my garden grows.

Easy fun!!
This morning I put electrical tape on the floor for the kids to tight rope walk on.
This was not what they wanted to do with the tape on the floor. Instead, the kids decided it was a great town and then later a race track. It also became a kingdom somewhere along the way.
So in conclusion, putting tape on the floor is an easy and cheap way to entertain kids of all ages.
I am thinking a little game of hot lava would be fun to do with the floor tape as well.

Repurposed crayons
I get tired of the tiny broken crayons in he crayon box. If you feel the same way then you should totally repurpose those tiny broken pieces into multi colored crayons.
Repurposing crayons is easy and fun for all ages. Simply put broken crayon pieces into an old cupcake tin or container of your choosing. We sort the colors so that like colors are melted together.
Next you place the tin in an oven preheated to 300'-350' for fifteen minutes or until they are melted. I don't melt them completely, just to the point were they are level. This way the remaining unmelted crayon pieces make a more vibrate color variation than if it blended completely.
When melted to your liking remove from oven and cool until solidified. Once the new crayons are hard and cool turn the tin upside down and pop them out.
It's that easy!!! Now you are ready to use your new repurposed crayons.

Build your own sandwich night
I love build your own sandwich night because everyone gets exactly what they want. It is also a low mess dinner so that is always a bonus.
I simply slice up a variety of sandwich fixings and put them out on a platter.
Everyone prepares their own dinner just the way they want.
Each member of my family builds completely different sandwiches than everyone else.
This is also a fun way to eat for the kids because they love enjoying their own creations.
My boys like their sandwiches on toasted and buttered bread. It is mmm mmm good :-)

Vegan kid friendly lunch buffet
I love feeding my kids healthy nutritious food but I don't like when they won't eat what I make.
The easiest way to get them to eat a variety of food is to give them small portions of different lunch options.
This way if they don't like something, there is not much of it that they have to eat.
I call it buffet lunch and the kids love it!!
My rule is if the kids want more of any of the options that they must eat everything first. This way they don't fight eating food they don't like because it's just a little bit and then they can get more of what they want.
